Meredith was admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey in 2007, and since such time, she has dedicated her career to family and matrimonial matters. In 2015, Meredith and Alissa partnered to form Van Horn & Friedman, P.C. Meredith was previously an associate at boutique family law firm in Garden City, New York. Prior to that, Alissa and Meredith began their careers at a small general practice law firm.

Meredith is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Meredith has a juris doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center and obtained her undergraduate degree in Consumer Affairs in Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also a proud member of the New York State Bar Association, Family Law Chapter, the Suffolk County Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association.

Meredith is the recipient of various awards throughout her career, including being named Top Women Faculty for LawLine, Top 50 Women in Business, a Super Lawyer since 2018, Outstanding Woman in the Law, and Power Women in Business, amongst others.
